Georgeen is co-founder of Interboro, an award-winning, brooklyn-based firm offering inventive and inclusive architecture, urban design and planning services.
The foundation of their work is good listening, keen observation and productive community engagement. Their participatory, place-specific approach creates consensus around complex projects ranging from buidligs, parks, and open spaces to neighborhood, city and regional plans. Buildings on the unique qualities of each place, their work closely with clients and project stakeholders to creatively program, design and realize beautiful, inclusive and inviting environments.
Georgeen received a Bachelor of Architecture from Rice University and a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from the Harvard Design School. She is Professor and Director of the Infrastructure Planning Program at New Jersey Institute of Technology’s School of Architecture.
